Product guide
Open a filing, click Graffiti and choose the level of detail you need. The source document stays beside the tools throughout.
Open a local HTML, XHTML or iXBRL file, an ESEF ZIP package, a direct URL, or search Companies House by name or company number.
Use the generated Contents view to jump between sections. Select a highlighted item to see its concept, value, period, unit, dimensions and accounting reference.
Search concepts, values and periods. Filter standard or custom tags and separate tagged facts from figures recovered from the visible table.
Ask in plain English. Graffiti sends the relevant structured facts—and, where available, narrative sections and company context—to the AI assistant.
Explore multi-year trends, ratios, filing history, directors, significant controllers and company networks. Compare selected returns from up to four companies.
Run local iXBRL validation checks, trace table rows back to the page, add encrypted browser notes and export CSV, XLSX or XBRL-JSON.
Data screen
Switch between all facts, numeric or text facts, the full iXBRL document, header and resource data, XBRL-JSON and an AI-ready view. Copy exact values or export only the columns you need.
Graffiti flags provable local issues such as missing contexts or units, unparsable values and duplicate facts. Select a result to return to the source item.
Inspect calculation relationships and move between facts, continuations and footnotes without manually searching the page.
Privacy and access
Local filings and ESEF packages are parsed in your browser and are not uploaded merely to open them. Notes are encrypted in browser storage. AI questions send the relevant analysis context through the authenticated Graffiti service.
Use dark or light mode, keyboard navigation, visible focus states and colour-independent underline styles for different tag types.
Browser notes belong to the document identity on that device. Save an annotated copy before moving a file, changing its name or clearing browser storage.
